Here are the steps to take to become a real estate broker.
First, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as basic computer knowledge.
Next,
- Take and pass a minimum of 450-hour real estate broker training or distance training (courses offered through CEGEP);
- Pass the exam of the Organisme d'autoréglementation du courtage immobilier du Québec (OACIQ);
- Get sponsored by a registered real estate agency;
